And the market is so dense that getting yourself published is difficult (unless you opt to self-publish).

Ermm im dyslexic so no... i just find it diffiuclt to learn new words and understand their meanings..but that shouldnt stop me from pursueing a career in writing

Dyslexia should not be an obstacle to the range of your vocabulary. And I'd say range of vocabulary is a pretty important quality for an author.

Basically there's loads of people all doing the same thing and there isn't room for them all in the market.
