Will I be disadvantaged?

I've applied for medicine to four universities this year, and I sent off my UCAS application to my referees around 20th September. But my referees took untill 13 October to finish writing my references, and so my application was sent off on the 13th. :frown: If you send off your application really close to the deadline, does this disadvantage you in anyway, particularly for medicine?
no.
My school say it does, but I'm not so sure...they're certainly not a well-informed institution!

I'd assume as long as you get it in before the deadline you won't be disadvantaged.
No, as long as it's sent off and processed before the deadline you're fine.
