Not for me! I'm afraid it's Edinburgh or re-apply...so GAP year here I come most probably. If I could go back and start this whole thing again I would do it so differently!
    God, Oh so VERY differently!

    Awww... :hugs:

I think there's something about A level French... I gave it up at the beginning of this term when I didn't get Oxford as I 1) couldn't hack the extra work 2) generally hated the subject! I'm sort of regretting it now though, as ALL of the pressure is on my other subjects. Also, if they give me a four grade offer, I'm completely screwed, as I didn't dare risk writing to them to say I'd dropped one!
You made the right choice ditching French!! I'm finding A2 a killer :argh: ! Really not coping very well with it....

its difficult to get an A when half way thru one of ur fellow actors goes 'S***, I've forgotten my line....erm, what was it.....erm...erm, oh jus do the next bit' and walks off stage.
  And they penalised your whole group for that?

I already e-mailed them, and got the following reply

I've got so used to seeing it, I think I've convinced myself that it will never change. When it finally does (as I know in reality it must) I'll not only be shocked but completely disorientated.

I REALLY must stop this obsessing!

Same. I checked track twice today. It's sunday. what was i really expecting lol. They should put warnings on Track. 'WARNING- this may turn u into an unreasonable university junkie. Some offers may cause offence'.

I'm exactly the same! I'd heard from everywhere else before xmas and since then I've doing a daily Edinburgh check! I honestly thought they might have just lost my application or something. Still, I know a few people who've got rejected for English so I guess we're still in the running. It's just annoying as I don't even want to go there, I just want to know so I can be done with the whole thing!

Spose its a gud thing. I know me. If i got an offer i'd put it as insurance and then mess up my Alevels on purpose. But with 28 applicants for a place...well who knows lol.

Someone I know was rejected for English Literature with Classics today. My heart was in my mouth as I checked track just now...as it stands, no rejection, but no offer either! It's officially mid March this week so they must get back to us soon! Right?

*checks track again*.'Sent'. *Rips hair*. Its weird. According to the Guardian Edinburgh are better then my first choice uni (Warwick) for Lit. I didnt care if i didnt get an offer and now i do. Bloody league tables ruin everything lol. I now find myself analysing 'Reciept of ur application' email. Thats not normal right?
