    Crew Clothing!
Anyone had an interview for Crew Clothing?

Have one later this week. Just wondering what the ask and that.

It's for a new store opening.

Guessing it's a group interview as it's at a restaurant.

    Hi everyone!

I have a group interview (8 of us) on the 20th of this month. I've never been to a 'retail interview' before, and was wondering the sorts of things ill be asked, and things ill need to know and do to get the job!

Did the hard part, there were over 80 applicants!

there was only 4 of us in the group so you'll probably be split into 2 gorups

All it was was say a bit about yourself to the rest of the group, then you were given a Crew Clothing catalogue each and had to make a outfit for an occasion. i.e a night out in town. then tell the rest of the group what you chose & why you chose it.

then they asked how many hours you could work and if you're currently working how much notice you have to give.

also had to take a copy of my CV along.

annoying thing is with mine is instead of doing the interviews locally, they done it about 18 miles away in a TGI Fridays - didn't even buy us anything to eat or drink lol

    also didn't last very long.

Thanks alot for the information/advice! Thankfully the CV has been done already - one less thing to worry about!

Think i will have a little browse through the catalogue prior to turning up then. Other than that, it shouldn't be a problem.

Been told to take the obvious essentials with me (idetification, passport etc) but the women on the phone also said something to do with 'holiday'? I stupidly said yes, without knowing what she said (nerves!), would you have any idea about that?

Also, did you get a job at crew?!

I'd already sent them my CV & they'd obviously seen it already because they contacted me but they told me to take a copy with me.

She probably asked if you had any holidays booked?

    No I didn't get it.

Sorry to bump this up slightly, but I'm interested in applying and on the website it doesn't state vacancies just to contact the store itself directly. There's an address and telephone number but no email which would have been my preferred choice of contact, so how did you go about finding the vacancies? Did you ring or email or go into the store itself? thanks
