Re: Tech Society 3.0Talk to their customer service, their normally pretty good(Original post by Dez)
Amazon pre-order just got dispatched... to my old workplace in London. Epic fail.

Re: Tech Society 3.0You using an old version of Firefox I'm guessing? I'm on the latest and it appears fine on mine. Even on Internet Explorer it's fine.(Original post by Dez)
Their tabs aren't appearing properly (on Firefox):
As a web designer, I tut and shake my head at such graphical bugs.

Re: Tech Society 3.0As a final bit of confirmation, it looks fine on Safari too =P(Original post by Wednesday Bass)

I did, and they can't do anything now as it shipped with Royal Fail. The only thing they suggest is refusing the parcel delivery, but chances are it'll come with a load of other Amazon orders and they're all usually accepted by the security guy (or girl) in one batch. So I may just have to bribe my old manager to forward it on for me.(Original post by Kenny_uk)

Re: Tech Society 3.0
Hmph, Orange told me my phone would take a week to arrive, which I was more than happy with. Two days later and it's in stock after I've come home, and they'll only hold it until Sunday when I was planning to come home monday. Now I either have to risk losing it (And my deposit) or miss my girlfriend's birthday. Not impressed :\

Re: Tech Society 3.0I'd rather that than Firefox on Android tbh.(Original post by Mad Vlad)
See... that'd make me cry seeing the IE logo plastered on my home screen.

Re: Tech Society 3.0I already have a website pinned so I don't have to look at it XD not a bad browser so far though.(Original post by Mad Vlad)

Will do, I'll post my thoughts on it tonight after I've had a day with it.(Original post by Nick Longjohnson)
Please tell us what it's like. I'm really liking the look of WP7, and the Nokia is a sexy beast. -

Re: Tech Society 3.0Of the 5 minutes or so I've played with it, I'd probably agree. But as I said, it was 5 minutes.(Original post by Dez)
In fairness, IE 9 has come a long way and it's a far better browser (both from a webdev side and user side) than any of it's predecessors.

Re: Tech Society 3.0I'm inclined to agree as well, I just hope IE 10 follows that.(Original post by Dez)

Re: Tech Society 3.0
Just unsubscribing from some Symantec mailing list thing, and was told that it would take 10 business days to complete.

Guess I'd best add them to my spam filter for the next two weeks. But ten days? Anyone want to venture a guess as to why on earth it takes 10 working days to delete a single email address from a database file somewhere?
