Just doing some cleanup on my web server, I discovered that Linode have added 4 GB of space to it since I last did any housekeeping. Not sure what I should do with that, try another distro maybe? :holmes:

Also, not had to reboot the server for over six months. :awesome:

If any of you run a Linux server, you need this script. :awesome:

    Code:
    /usr/bin/uptime | perl -ne "/(\d+) d/;print 8,q(=)x\$1,\"D\n\""

It's a graph of uptime, nothing too sinister...

Just tried out the Lumia 800 that came out today, lovely piece of kit. Getting mine next week for £120 with a free XBox which CEX will pay me £85 for. Not a bad deal methinks =D

Unfortunately not, they'd blocked off the admin tools pane which was annoying. Ended up having to buy a new one because the work had to be in that afternoon. £6 for a 1GB stick, I felt like I'd been stabbed :\

Pretty much, I may still right an angry letter to the biology department due to poor organisation in the hopes of getting reimbursed. Every little counts =P

Getting it on my current contract, my iPhone 4 is essentially dead now and I'd have to wait another 7 months until my upgrade so I'm paying the early upgrade fee then balancing it out by selling the XBox. Works out at about £45 for the handset including deposit which I'm more than happy to pay for, then keeping my current contract.

Yeah, that makes sense. Not a bad way to do it at all.
