Regret buying these. I look like a prat. Even Beats would be better than this.

That's the failsafe. If throttling back doesn't work, or it exceeds Tmax, then it'll turn off.

    Unlike these old CPUs:

Awwwww, the VIA KT133a chipset.... :moon:

I fried a CPU like that once, just to make sure it'd get RMA... Worked too, with CCL many moons ago.

They do look slightly odd :lolwut: I'm currently sat on the train with these on my head, got a few strange looks around town for them.

Got my amp yesterday, the sound coming out of it when paired with my iMod is incredible. I'll probably post a couple of things gushing over the setup once I get my customs, then I'll stop clogging the thread up with audiophile stuff =P

tbf, the only 'big' headphones that don't get you a look in public is beats.

Only because people who give you the look are thinking "OMFG!! why didn't he buy beats, what an idiot."

JDS Labs C421, lovely little thing. Roughly identical dimensions to my modded iPod so the whole unit fits nicely in my pocket.

Part of me really wants to buy a set of Sony MDR XB1000 just to see people's reactions to them, the best comparisons I've heard are that they look like a pair of tyres, and a Princess Leia wig =P But in terms of big headphones, the Denon D2000/5000/7000 are all gorgeous and I can imagine them turning heads in a positive way, pictures really don't do them justice. Granted they're all even more expensive than even the Beats Pros, but still =P

    Stock broker?

I only have one atm (unless I use my laptop, in which case I have two), but my ideal setup would be three screens. I've tried a setup at a former workplace using 4, and it gets a bit... much.

I can think of uses for maybe 3 or 4 of the screens but they're not exactly productive.
