Oops, have been getting emails about this topic but ignored them.

I'm doing Marcomms, but do fancy switching MKT & Branding for the 2nd & 3rd years.

Accepted firm my offers and sent off my accommodation application with a receipt...

Just waiting for HMRC's leisurely pace so that I can send off for finance. I was the guy who drew the Titanic storyboard at the Applicant Day this Month, come and say hi on here! ^_^

I've got an unconditional for Music and Media Management at the Park campus, which I am taking as it's my first choice.... might have something to do with my boyfriend living there

Really really excited as I've had two gap years and can't wait to start using my brain again!

As for accomodation, I hate the idea of sharing with like 9 people it must get so grimey and I can imagine falling out with people over not washing the dishes.

I've already paid the deposit on my studio flat in the town center, I would advise sorting your housing out soon as possible, you don't want to be left with the last choices!!

I have an offer for Psychology. Still deciding weather to go to Gloucester or Glamorgan tho... Live in Newport atm but have only been in UK for half a year so it doesn`t really make that much of a difference if I move =)
As much as wanting a good course I`d also like to have a social life xD any suggestions or anyone else who`s on Psychology?

I'm not psychology, but have applied to both uni's and I found Glamorgan lovely, but put Glos as my firm as Glamorgan seemed a bit out of the way from everything but their accommodation was so nice!

I was going to comment about halls but I just saw that you've put a deposit down on a flat elsewhere.

But if anyone else wants to know - I lived in halls when I was at Gloucestershire Uni & I'm quite a shy person. I lived with 8 other people and made some good friends and generally had fun in the halls. My room was quite small for the price it was (nearly £100 a week!) however it had an en-suite so was worth it.

There were hardly any arguments about dishes or cooking etc however most of the people I lived with were generally clean so would wash up after themselves!

The fire alarm went off every week, mainly on a Monday when it was student night and people would come back from the clubs drunk and would then light cigarettes right under the smoke detectors!

A good point is that most of the halls are near to the main building (I was situtated at Park campus) so I could roll out of bed at 9am to get to a 9.15am lecture!

I wouldn`t go for accomodation anyway because I live with my bf and we`d just rather get a flat in Gloucester. Yeah, I loved Glamorgan but it`s just close enough that we wouldn`t move and out of the way enough that it`s unconvenient... =P
So I am probably gonna for Gloucester too... and start looking for a place to live.

hey, is anybody doing digital film production? its my first choice, i've applied for accommodation at park villas too! the course looks amazing and i loved cheltenham, went there this week to get used to the place and stayed over night. the shopping was really good and it seems like such a nice town.

I'm not totally sure but no I don't think you can apply online, however you can print off the documents online that you need to apply for accommodation if that's any help?! Good luck!

My sister goes to university at Glamorgan and she really loves it! I am applying for Business and Management at Glos as I looked around a few and just fell in love! I put it as my first choice even though I had offer which needed higher grades and I am predicted higher.

Well i'm hoping to apply for the 2 year course in forensic computing, was going to do that at middlesex but student finance told me i only have 2 years of funding left and i just missed the adjustment period for UCAS Extra which means i'll be applying when clearing opens, that's going to be fun fun fun :P
