All the videos? bops, stage shows, interviews, and of course the guided tour

I know he/she's around somewhere! I just can't remember who it was
Time to go watch more videos! Or maybe not... I've just wasted lots of time reading the JCR website (pretty sad the meeting minutes are password protected)

Philosophers have rhetorical questions EVERYWHERE. I'd like to see a well-known, contemporary philosophy attempt to write a personal statement...
That's because they can never answer them without flaws  I put quite a few of those in mine LOL

    HOW DARE YOU?!

:mmm: Reading this essay is so funny...

Derrida basically says: 'I'm very sorry Foucault has died... now I will attack his work because it is incorrect and/or badly worded.'

No probably not, I don't really like Cambridge or their law course.

Oh, I believe I confused you with the psychology thing. There's rumours (not sure if they're veritable), that UCL has psychologists at interviews. And not just psychology interviews, but any interview. I'm applying for Biological Sciences.
    Oooh, which college?

Nope, because they only have Natural Sciences :P
Plus I wouldn't get in without maths!

well it was really a matter of course difference really. If cambridge offered pure chem like oxy, I probably would have I spent quite some time devoted to Cambridge and I really had my heart set for it but oh no, Natural sciences. What. a. bomb. Then I saw Oxford and WOOH! Just as nice

    Organ scholars.

Tbh I'm more jealous of their musical abilities than they fact they can apply to both

Post-interview. It's kind of more comforting (and paradoxical, I know) to be rejected once they meet you, instead of not even being given the opportunity to be interviewed. I'm in love with the institution, already, pre-interview, so don't think I could fall in love any more.

Re: Oxford applicants, have you heard back yet?

If your college has sent you an email already (the one about being under "active consideration"), then there'll probably be a link to a form to fill in online about accommodation in case you get an interview and some other links about sending in written work and photos.

Maybe only some do it...but you need four passport sized photos to send off with your written work with your name, course and (apparently) your referee's/teacher's signature on it. That's all I know...what college are you in? If it's the same one as me I can send you the links.
Hi, thanks! I'm starting to seriously worry now, I've applied to St Anne's and still did not get an email from them

Teaching quality does make a huge difference! Not that I have any idea what Born-Haber cycles and Hess' Law are...
This. I understand the physics taught by our amazing teacher SO much better than the physics taught by the 'meh' teacher. He was off last week and Amazing Teacher taught us instead, even though it was her free period.

Oh, talking of physics, did I mention? Our school is running a trip to CERN in June! :woo::woo::woo::woo::woo::woo::woo::woo::woo:
