So, it has come to pass that I'm quite frankly bored with Glee and the third season hasn't really filled me with any enthusiasm for the show. It seems to be stuck in the same old **** over and over again.

This thread is for those fans out there who are tired already of the show and wish it to return to its original glory and not rehash the same old ****. For example, there is a rumour that Jesse St James will be returning to the show as Vocal Adrenaline's coach. Obvious there's going to be all kinds of tension there, like they haven't tried that in the other two seasons.

Their inability to keep someone out of the club, such as Santana.

The character development which keeps on being reset at the start of each season: Mercedes and her diva act towards Rachel. Sue hating the club yet again.

This thread is really just for people to bitch about the show, when they used to be fans.

Oh, and I would prefer this thread not to merged with the Glee soc thread or put under its wing, if possible.

I haven't seen any of the third season, damn Sky stealing it. But tbh I agree, towards the end of the second season I was rapidly losing interest - I think the fact they started singing original songs was telling as they'd used up all the good show tunes by then and (suitable) pop music isn't being produced quick enough for them to use new tracks all the time. I'm not that excited about the third season

I honestly haven't missed the show since it went on hiatus and I really enjoyed the first season. Made me really excited for this season, but no. It just seems to have carried on going down hill.

The only thing keeping me holding on is baby A-Rach.

It's sad because I loved the first 2 so much and I feel like a bad fan now but it's the bloody writer's fault. I could basically just re write out every PM I have ever sent you and it would perfectly describe my feelings towards Glee now.

I'm enjoying the third season on balance, although I'm very disappointed with the music. They're doing so many more show tunes, and while they do alright with them, they don't bring anything new to them. Glee is at it's best when it's adapting the music in some way, they're never going to outdo the greats at showtunes.

That's exactly it, the songs are really bad this season IMO
not just showtunes, stuff like Candyman and the Beyonce song they did... urgh... killed the originals

- Irish guy is annoying and can't really sing that well, I didn't watch The Glee Project but if he won then I dread to think of the other contestants
- FFS just keep the Glee club together
- Brittana could have been better
- I LOVE PUCK
- Stfu Sue trying to ruin the Glee club, old storyline is old
- Go Burt!!!!1111

Prognosis: not enough Rachel Berry.

Also... for anyone interested, there are pictures of Jonathan Groff aka Jesse St James naked on ONTD_Glee.
And I'm not going to lie, disappointing.

This week's episode was actually pretty good
good songs, plot, girl with nice bum during Warblers song, aaaand Rachel being flawless.
