My friend had the same problem. She really is a stunner and the guy she liked for years just said no (he didnt want to date until he was older...weird) but she hung on and now she's going steady with, not a total hottie, but someone who's treating her right. It's all about time :smile:

someone will come along eventually...in my mates case, guys were too shy to say they liked her (i know because they told me after a while)

The irony is that attractive women can actually intimidate men so they don't bother. To be fair I'm no stranger to shrugging off approaching a girl because I figure I'm not her type (i.e. she is really attractive and probably wants a really attractive bloke).

This results in the funny situation in which sometimes really attractive women are in fact lonely as hell because no man will approach them.

'cuter' more plain women on the other hand got it made. :smile:

Also you look Indian, and allot of white guys might assume either you don't go for white guys or your parents/family would make an issue out of it.

Just a hypothesis.

Anyway you're pretty and I assume nice personality to so don't worry about it, you'll find a quality guy, but try to approach guys to. You don't need to be all over them but show them you;re approachable and they'll relax. Flirting goes both ways.

i wouldn't say it's because you're indian... i don't know why it is, maybe you are shy or don't know many guys well enough/see them in situations where they could approach you.

The main thing that puts me off some women of other ethnicities is religion.

As a non-religious guy i like to have a drink and have sex with women that i am with, be it casually or in a relationship.

I am afraid that Muslim women do have the stereotype of being a bit frigid and that is before considering that Muslim parents also seem to be stereotyped as being very racist when it comes to their daughters potential mates.

My advice is to use the internet and meet guys from there.

I do live in a predominantly white area (and I'm Indian) so maybe what Indian guys find attractive, white guys don't? do you think that could be a reason?

I saw one on the bus the other day and OMG he was one of the most beautiful men i had ever seen. seriously...so yes i think i would be attracted to them. i don't really care much about race but there aren't that many black people in nz so i rarely come across them. my dad? haha i don't think he would send me back to india lol....but i think it would take a bit of convincing :biggrin:
