American Judge William Adams beats daughter for downloading
2004: Arkansas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views. The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. Re: American Judge William Adams beats daughter for downloadingpeople can talk about discipline, and maybe you think i'm going to be a **** parent one day, but truth is watching and listening to her scream like that makes me feel really, really sad, empty and disturbed...and i don't even know her. If she was my daughter, i think if you paid me a million pounds, i would still have a real hard time doing that to her, for ANY reason. This makes me think, i'm either a failure, or people justifying this **** are just soulless and emotionally cold people.
All I do know, is that i've turned out a very decent and successful person without ever being beaten. And i know my parents feel the same way as i do regarding this.
Reason and calm discussions go further with kids than adults, and we're not perfect just cos we're adults btw, realise....as long as you can justify why you are disappointed in them. Worked with me.

The US equivalent to this site, collegeconfidential is dull as anything. All it contains are 'do you think my grades are good enough for XXXXX?' threads.Also when did this site get filled with Americans. I'm seeing 4/5 a day. No offence. It's just I've recently noticed this.
Anyway, this guy clearly isn't the norm in the US, so I don't see why the fact he is American is relevant. -
