What decade was your favourite film released in?

    I voted for the 1950s (Sunset Boulevard, 12 Angry Men and All About Eve particular standouts) but on par with the 1950s is definitely the 30s. Gone With The Wind, The Wizard of Oz, It Happened One Night, Bringing up Baby, all the Fred and Ginger movies...I wish I had been alive then to see them on the big screen, back before everyone had mobile phones and didn't throw popcorn everywhere

    the special effects would be a bit demeaning for many movies in the 1950s especially action packed Science fiction films but i do agree the wizard of oz is great and amazing for the time it was made in.
