    Hey!

noooo its nice to meet another person doing the same as me well where do i start :L

Your first year, you will be learning the basics, for a start they get you reading more and going library, just so they dont get you being relient on the internet all the time. Most projects will involve researching and looking for the right information, you will get to learn how to find your ideas and develop them. At the start of your year, your main lecture Francis whos irish, will tell you to invest in a little A6 blank paged journal/ sketchbook to jot all your ideas in and to carry it on you where ever you go, so invest in one of those before you start ^^. Theres a particular module that will be annoying to do, its called pdp (personal development planning) and basically its like a diary where you talk about your work, what you did in class, what helped you, inspirations, goals and achievements etc... you have to spend like 20mins on it every week.. its a nightmare if you leave it last minute and not start it when you should, so another big advice would be dont leave it, keep on top of it!!!!

As for singer halls, if you get given it, you will be fine for room space!! its a big room, with a long desk, and plenty of room on the floor to work, i had no problems with that ^^

When you mean jobs... do you mean work anywhere in coventry or do you mean work exsperience with design agencys etc ??? i never went for job in my first year as i was lucky to have full loans, bursary and scholarship, so i didnt need a job. Its totally up to you but you will have alot of free time, as you only have class 2 days a week, it will help with the funding and future planning for example when you come to getting a house share for your 2nd year.

Any other questions your more than welcome to message me on my profile ^^
Ahaa! Thank you so much! ^o^

I don't suppose it'd be strange to want to meet in person at some point after starting the course, right? I just wanna be friends with everybody!

Hi! My name is Maya and hopefully i will be starting Coventry university thsi september. Hey! I needed some advice.. i wanted to ask if people who arent able to meet their entry requirements still can get a chance to enter Coventry.. and i dont mean through clearing.. dont know how to explain it.. like sort of talk to the uni explain the case that havent got the grade and i have one grade for example i have a 4 instead of a 5 (which is my condition).. does that necessarily mean i cant be accepted into the university?
.. I have heard that people sort of "negotiate" their places?

    Hello Maya,

without being sure, I believe that zou should anzway try to get a place and in case they decline your application, you can then try to convince them why you deserve the place and why they should give you an offer. With Coventry being one of the best student satisfactory University in UK i suppose they will at least give you a chance.. here you are, I hope I have been helpfull,

    greetings from Greece

The whole set up there seemed perfect for me. Everyone was very welcoming and the course is perfect for what I want to do.
Obviously you may find it different but I couldn't find a bad point about it!

Can I speak to someone in private (who is studying Aviation Management) about the course because I have lots of questions to ask and I'm pretty much interested ?

It was really good, and the work load was not too bad, quite relaxed compared to other universities. I have one piece of advice and it won't make sense to you until at least halfway through your second year, but I feel I need to warn you. Do NOT get Tony Lawrence as your dissertation supervisor. Bribe someone to swap with you or something. As you'll see in lectures, he's a really nice guy and makes lectures interesting, but he's VERY laid back and he never responds to emails.
