I was in an abusive relationship 6 years ago and the abuse was at its worst during Lent, plus it was when I had my first major psychotic episode. So I tend to get anniversary psychotic episodes around this time of year

I'm in the middle of eating my pancakes. Strangely, even though Lent is early this year it feels like it's time for it because the sun is absolutely blazing down and reminding me of the Lent/Easter times I've had at Church. I'm not giving anything up this year. I've actually never given anything up (maybe I should try giving the Internet up...that would be the most sensible idea I've ever had). I tend to mark Lent by taking things up and doing some reading of a Lent book/books.

Very true! However I think i'm going to go like last time and go strict veggie again, with at least 2 days a week of veganism. I look forward to the diet of hummus and carrots once more :3
