Change choice of course from same university?
Hello, yesterday I received my welcome letter from UCAS, checked the course codes for each university and found that one of my universities has increased its grade requirements. On the UCAS website, I believe it will allow me to change my choice of course within the 7 day limit. However, I will need to contact the university directly (not within UCAS). What are the chances of the university (Queens Belfast-business management) changing my course choice to either another course (Business economics)/or another university based on the fact I wont be able to meet the entrance requirements? Thank You.

you could use track and substitute the choice instead. contacting the university directly is only required after the 7 day limit afaik.

If you want to change the course but not the university, you simply e-mail the university's (the one you applied to) admissions department and ask them to change it to what you want. They will do it, as within the 7 days this is not something they choose to do or not to do. I changed my course at St Andrews this way

If you want to change the university though (regardless of course staying the same or not), then you simply do it through UCAS - open the choice, click substitute choice, and select the uni & course you want. I did that as well, changing to Stirling from Bristol

    Hope this makes it clear!
