I’ve applied for Law with Criminology.
It’s one of the lower ones I’m applying to (along with DMU), but I’d be happy to go there, I just love its location.

It’s one of the better new universities and the law school is one of the largest in the UK.

It has fairly low entry requirements, 300 UCAS points for straight law, which is less than a lot of universities that rank lower.

It’s ranked 44 in The Complete University Guide 2012 and 50 in the Guardian League Table 2012 for law, so not quite 5th haha, but still pretty good. Obviously it can’t compete with the Russell Group/Red Brick universities, but it’s in the top 50 which is quite an achievement for such a new university.

Law at Trent is 320 points if you want a placement year which is so beneficial as it gives you that much sought after 'work experience' which is much more respected in todays job maket than any standard russell group degree

I wouldn’t imagine they’d go any lower than the entry requirement stated (280 UCAS points from three A levels), if that’s what you mean.
