For all those travelling from London, how you getting there? Is there a coach going up there, or are trains cheap enough?

Even living so close you should be camping! All part of the fun but, they sold out a few hours ago, so no point me trying to convince you :P

Coaches you can book through National Express, maybe some other companies too, but needs to be done in advance I think. Not sure how prices compare to train though. Coach will take you straight to the festival, train station I think is a bit of a way from it, though they probably run a shuttle bus to and from it. I'm driving up from Kent so not had to look into it.

Probably going to get the train to Derby, then getting coach to Donnington Castle. So looking forward to DEVIN TOWNSEND!!!!

Any predictions for last minute dropouts anyone?

Hopefully no big bands for a last minute drop out. I would say Black Sabbath if anyone, but they've played a couple of gigs and Tony seems to be doing well, so that's removed much of the doubt.

Don't know if it's any quicker/cheaper/easier for you, but if you get off at the stop after Derby (Long Eaton) you can get onto the Trent Barton Skylink bus which runs all the way to East Midlands Airport, and that obv isn't far from Download.

I was gonna bring a banner that has 'Limo Wreck' on it in the hope they play it, although I think I'll do that for Hard Rock Calling instead.

Don't want to have to squeeze myself from the front before Black Sabbath start.

Haha, that's amazing, seriously? I may bring one with Head Down on it then... yeah Superunknown is probably my favourite album of all time along with Angel Dust (FNM)...going to see Patton and co a month after Download sunday, amazing month.

I'm praying for an Sabbath into the void collab too...Matt on drums and Chris singing.

Was thinking of going to HRC too, but not sure I can afford it.

Same thing that's wrong with Pantera. They try to appeal to the swathes of 'alt' teenagers left from the ultimate demise of nu metal (although admittedly this is not synonymous with Pantera for obvious reasons) and ultimately just rely on massive dumb**** grooves with no real substance but angst to suck in their target audience.

Yeah I'm not sure if I would have gone to Download if they had already announced Hard Rock, will be good for the longer setlist though!

I'm seeing Faith No More in July also, Hammersmith or Brixton?

Yeah same but oh well Kyuss will be good.

Well I bought a ticket for HS because I thought that was their only date, got a seated one. Lol, as you know, 2 hours later I bought 2x standing for Brixton. Probably gonna sell the HS ticket.

Just saw their set at RaR, the crowd was terrible...literally just standing. If it's like that at DL I'm gonna cry.
