Seminars
What are maths seminars like? I have to do them when I start university in september and i've just got an image of evil lecturers randomly shouting questions at people and me being like 'omgosh ummmm' at a question like 7x8 !
The seminars we have are just where the lecturer goes over a set of exercises.
In our seminars we just go over the problem sheets we've been given in groups and then the lecturers are there to answer any questions or explain things to you! We never really get put on the spot to come up with an answer! As long as you've done the work required before the actual seminar you'll be ok!
