Sheffield, Newcastle or Loughborough for MechEng ?

These universities are all in good cities and they are all reputable universities.

Let other factors help you decide. E.g. course content/structure, social life, entry requirements etc.

I've heard that Loughborough is a top university for Engineering but I think the place is small and there's not much to do apparently.

Loughborough is great! The town is small, but the union makes up for it! Plus Nottingham is only 15mins away.
