Mum & Dad. i appreciate that it feels strange to have me back after so long as uni, but i'm a 21 year old adult now and i'm too old to be mothered by you. as soon as my career prospects pick up i will move out, but before then please appreciate my independance, i'm more than capable of living in myself.

Adjust to fit parents, and go with that. Problem hopefully solved

I got in a fight once when I was in about Year Six with this kid on my street because we didn't like each other, so I suppose maybe I've had one.

that means he should stop crying like a bitch on TSR cuz he's not getting his own way. It's his parents house so he should be respecting their rules and lifestyle, especially now he's 21 and back from uni.

BE A MEN (russell peters anyone?)
Yes! *Chinese woman* Hey. Be a man. I reference this a lot too and nobody seems to get it.

There's nothing more you can do other than tolerate it until you have enough for your own place. At least you managed to see what it was like to live independently.

They do have a point about coming in in early hours but we're obviously going to be like that when we're around 18-24.

Hell, if I had the money, I'd be out of my house like a shot! At least your parents seem reasonable. My mum's a complete psycho and my house is overcrowded!!

OP, I completely sympathise as I am in a near identical situation...Moved home after 3 years of living away. I know you're sick of being told but they only do it out of love. Also, again you already know this, but it's because it's their home too.
Anyway...I find it's easier to cope with if you keep away as much as poss! I go to the gym or lib a lot so I only need to be home occasionally. Just remember it's a means to an end and you'll be out of there one day. We should be thankful we have parents who will support us though whilst we need it!
