    BA Graphic Design at Brighton
    Hi,
I'm currently applying to uni for Graphic Design and Brighton is one of my top choices. Is the course any good? What are the teaching and facilities like?
I have never visited so general information about student life and accomodation would be great too
    Thank you!

Hey... I don't study Graphic Design in Brighton myself, but I know people who have and they've really enjoyed it. Brighton is a good university for the Arts.

The university libraries etc can be oversubscribed, but you have the Brighton libraries to use as well - Jubilee, Moulsecoomb, Hove etc, so you'll always be able to find what you're looking for.

There's loads to do for students and freshers week is always eventful.
If you're looking for accommodation then I'd suggest Hanover. You'll be near your campus (Grand Parade) and it's a really nice area: mainly students, young families and a large gay community. There's also a lot of pubs etc around that area, it's within walking distance of everything you need, very close to the sea front and town centre and it's safe.

I wouldn't recommend Kemp Town or Moulsecoomb as places to live if you do decide to go to Brighton. They can be a bit sketchy, the areas aren't very nice and they're still just as expensive as other parts of Brighton. Moulsecoomb in particular is ages away from Brighton town centre, a 40 minute walk from the campus you'd be on and there's nothing there. It isn't a nice area.

I've lived in Brighton for the last year and a half; I lived in Moulsecoomb until June this year and I didn't like it at all. Feel free to message me if you want more information on Brighton itself too
