Re: OCR Salters Chemistry F332 Jan 2012Do not know any websites... sorry(Original post by pakizrulez)
arghhh i hate the calculations, theyre always different except the titrations ones...does anyone know any website where i can understand them from eg. finding percentage of something..using moles and mass
I had the same problem in AS, but I overcame this by practicing EVERY SINGLE PAST PAPER CALCULATION QUESTION and understanding how I got to the answer... or understanding how the mark scheme got the answer...if you do this u should be fine
Since it is now close to the paper. My advice: Just look at the questions, check the mark scheme, make a few quick notes if you need to and understand how they got there. GOOD LUCK!

Re: OCR Salters Chemistry F332 Jan 2012
Chlorine Dioxide is more suitable than chlorine because:
*Chlorine is a volatile gas which is poisonous causing breathing difficulties
*Chlorine is also difficult to transport and also expensive
*Chlorine Dioxide is better at bleaching/disinfecting therefore less concentration is required in cleaning products - therefore cheaper
*Chlorine Dioxide is also a gas at room temp but more soluble so easily transported
*Chlorine affects the ozone by breaking it down however Chlorine Dioxide doesn't
hope that helps

Re: OCR Salters Chemistry F332 Jan 2012Chlorine Dioxide is slightly polar, so it does have a net dipole charge(Original post by ineedtorevise127)

I understand it all clearly, I'm just missing little details...
