We already have the best Universities in Europe and we have the third highest GDP in Europe.

What they failed to mention was the coming terrorist attacks and such.

We have got some pretty nifty universities in the UK. :awesome:

but dont forget that some European countries also have excellent unis like University of Maastricht. (Netherlands)

Who knows. In the ideal world ( I did say ideal :tongue:

) terrorism will be no more. :crazy:

And Trinity College Dublin, UCD etc :colone:

The point still stands, cost aside - UK universities contain universities (namely Oxbridge and places like Imperial) that can compete against the best in the USA. Maastricht cannot compete with somewhere like Yale. Cambridge can.
