Taking a year out after Engineerig
Hi just looking for some advice please.
I graduated last year with a BEng and I'm now studyin an Engineering related MSc. The majority of people on my course are now applying for jobs but I just don't feel ready to go straight into a full time salaried Engineering job. I'm getting stressed out with the course and it seems like my lifes been so intense for the past few years with exams and work to do constantly! To be honest my motivation has just gone completely and I can't wait to get this year over with!
Do you think it would look bad on my CV or impede my chances at all of getting a good engineering graduate job if I take a year out after my MSc to just chill? Perhaps work in a bar or go abroad.
The work I would do in my year out wouldnt be engineering related at all.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks
