Hello people.

I'm planning on studying Poltics at SHU in 2012 but not sure where to live.

What are you applying for, and where are you planning to live?

SHU based on course content for Business Economics is second choice for me,
I haven't had an opportunity to look so I can't judge on where I plan to live, unfortunately there's no open days now til June so I'm gonna have to book one of their Wednesday tours.

But yeah, UCAS and website says 300 pts, minimum 160 from 2 A-Levels, does that mean I can top up using AS?

Still waiting on an offer though.

If it asks for 300 points, with 160 points coming from 2 A Levels, then yeah you probably can use your AS, unless it says otherwise on the Entry Requirements section of the SHU website

That's good then, because I'm predicted BCC and with the 40 points from the C I got at AS I'd get 300. So all's for hoping now! Just want an offer off them :P

How did you find it? It was nice when I looked around but I felt it was a bit remote and it seemed all the action was at the city campus, along with the SU bar.

This is the course I've gone for. Maybe I'll recieve some sort of decision off them. What did they want you to get?

Sheffield Hallam is my only choice which I haven't got any reply back from yet, even though they were the first to acknowledge my application.

It's frustrating.

300 Ucas points with 160 from 2 A2's. I've recently received 2 offers from UEA for Economics courses though, so it looks like I'll no longer be going to Hallam. Lovely place though!

Hi There.
I have applied for Adult Nursing for Sheffield Hallam, on the 25th November.
I received my first interview letter today in the post from Lincoln (for the 13th January) which made me very happy!
I'm studying A2 Psychology, Applied Science and Food Technology and achieved ABCC last year (+ AS geography).
Has anyone heard from the university on nay nursing based course?
I'm feeling really nervous now!

I would very much appreciate any replies!

Oh and I would love to be at Victoria Hall's..it's beaaaautiful! Is anyone else looking at applying there, and when will be start applying by?!
