All the University's name does is get you a foot in the door when it comes to securing interviews with firms. Be excellent enough not to need that and you'll breeze the interview as well.

Don't worry they'll let you know their decision. I sent my application on the 12th of December and only today I've got an offer from KCL. They didn't send me anything before that.

A strange thing is that I applied for 2 courses there, but they mentioned only one in the letter

Might be due to the fact that most letters are computer generated. Are the two courses based in different departments?

Both courses are in Strand campus.
I also applied for 2 courses in the University of Westminster. Letters with the offers came at the same time and both were sent by ucas. The letter I got this morning was sent by King's College itself. Besides, ucas track is not updated yet

i check track about 4/5 times a day to see if theres a change soem days, but its just become so automatic that i dont even register what i see. i just do the same thing, assume that its still 'sent' then log off. n then after realsie i didnt even look

You know when I checked the track the day offers appeared it was pretty surprising, because I had also assumed that it was nothing changed. But it was So dont loose your hope

Im getting sooo annoyed with kings right now! Ive emailed them about a month ago asking about info on my application.. nothing, nill, rien, nada, tipote! THEN, about a week and a half ago, i re-emailed them and asked when id hear on my application.. nothing, nill, rien, nada, tipote! COME ON! Why is this taking sooo long.. stupid people!
My future literally rests on their decision and the fact that i stank my lnat and that they havent even answered a stupid email, are all signs of a big fat smelly rejection! ARGH!

alexandra, I also wrote King's an email since I have not heard anything from them since I sent my form off in October, and they also have not replied to it. Don't worry, you're not the only one. I suppose the only thing we can do is wait.

The fact that you people keep emailing them with questions is not going to speed up their decisions.. in fact, it's probably going to delay them.
