GIRLS! Tucking shirt into suit trousers?

Just wondering what peoples views are on girls tucking long sleeved shirts into suit trousers be it bootcut trousers or skinny smart trousers.

Personally I would say in some circumstances its ok, because I think they can look more messy if the shirt is kept outside, but I also think sometimes it can look old fashioned.

Any other views?!

I would love to tuck my shirt into my trousers (only for formal occasions though! not with jeans dear god!) - I think it looks so smart! But having the love handles I do, I just don't think it looks very nice on me so the next best thing is my shirt out.

I do, especially at work. I tend to buy 'boyfriend shirts', and then tuck them in - I think it looks really nice with a really trim waist, but loosely hanging over the boobs etc. I also do it with my jeans :colone:

(and get compliments so it can't look too bad!)

I hate normal girls shirts - they're always too short on me, so if I ever lift my arms up I end up showing everyone my stomach, which at work isn't very professional. Also, they tend to look either ill-fitting over the chest, or too tight. I find the bigger shirt tucked in provides a lot more room movement wise snd generally just looks smarter.

I think tucking in shirts are very nice and fashionable and sometimes I tuck mine into jeans too and people always compliment it. It doesn't look old fashioned as many young people wear it like that too! (including me)
