Hey I'm in my first year at rgu for media! its such a great course, lots of coursework but only one exam for the first semester i think you will really enjoy it! what accommodation are you looking at to stay?
    Hiya,
Good to here from an actual student that its a good course, instead of just from the website that's quite reassuring for me! Ive done my research into the course and tbh i cant wait to start, really hope they give me an offer. One exam's nice too I think i would like to stay in the accomodation off campus, closer to the middle of town it seemed much more sociable and simple but functional which would suit me fine, cant remember the name of the complex though:confused: Just out of interest can you remember how soon you received your offer from RGU, i know the UCAS deadline was only this Sunday but i sent off my application quite a while ago and it would be great to here from them! Cheers Calum

i wish i'd known how helpful this website was this time last year, i was clueless!
I can't remember when i received my offer and my acceptance letter is in aberdeen (im at home) i'll have a look when i go back at the weekend and let you know if you get into the media course (which is likely, i mean i got in!) i've got a brand new book, barely used that i spent £30 on which is handy for one of the modules if you would like it?

Hello everyone. I have applied for a PhD at RGU ( February intake 2012), had submitted all the necessary documents, had the interview, which went well, followed -up, and still no news! Not only haven't i received any offer, but my application status reads " sent to graduate school leader for consideration". At least, if i'm rejected, i have the right to know. Are they toying with us, or something? Do u think i should call?

    Yep, turning 26 tomorrow.
Yeah got an offer from Greenwich. Still waiting on Napier and Abertay.
That's not much I imagined more like 30, when you said you couldn't wait
Anyway, Congrats for that offer :clap2:
I am still waiting, and I honestly don't expect any answers before February, but this is making me go nuts :eek3:

I applied for International Business Management. What did you apply for?

Its really strange that I can find hardly any information about what its like to go to the University. Would love to know any reccomendations from current students about whats the best campus to stay at.
I appiled for international Hospitality managment

Yeah very little info about the university on the internet.. i know a few people that went there they say its a really good uni and they all have jobs .. i feel its a really good uni that has very good links with employers!

I got a rejection for Forensics 3 weeks ago. So I think if they give out my rejection 3 weeks ago you'll be fine.

Oh no! I'm sorry that really sucks! You still have an offer from Greenwich, right? Have you decided if you'll accept that, or have you got any other offers?

I don't know, it doesn't guarantee I'll be getting an offer! We'll see. I just really want some news from any of my choices soon! Even if it is rejections. I've just finished my prelims and don't really know what to do with myself except constantly check emails (amongst studying, of course )

No me neither! Same RGU are usually quite quick with replying too which makes the wait even worse haha. yeah true :P i found the small print about the applicant day not being a guarantee for getting into any courses quite funny

Yep right Greenwich. But still waiting on Abertay and Napier. RGU was my first choice but now I think it's Abertay. If I'll get rejections from the other two I'll be fine with Greenwich.
