Would you be sharing accommodation with any of your course-mates or society-mates if you chose one of the options?
OP don't you think you'd be better off trying to make the best of where you are and additionally make some friends on your course/in societies?

Your flat can't be all that bad, after all, your experience at Uni in general is what you make of it really. Can you socialise more wih your flatmates and make more of an effort? From your previous threads you sound like a bit of a social butterfly. I can't help but feel that you're shifting the blame onto others unfairly here. I really doubt that you're living in a flat which is 100% full of boring, unfriendly people?

Go for it! If your current hall is a miserable experience, then you're not going to be any worse off and things could be a lot better. Good luck!

I'm sure if your cool about and go in with an open mind people will want to hang out with you. If I had someone new move into my place I'd be 'Yo welcome welcome, now let's party.'
