Are the questions available? I'd quite like to see/talk about them.

Hey - after each round, are your points displayed or something? (Since the person who you quoted above knew which place he was after each round?)

Depends on your UKMC official. Most keep it quiet so that teams are not demoralised.

Oh ok, phew! I was getting a bit nervous - only 2 members of my team are strong, the third member has not practiced once, and the 4th member is coming along because we need a forth person to fill in the slot... lol

http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?p=35102717#post35102717 < check that out for me? A friend of mine is getting a different answer - can you check my working out? :smile:

Edit: Also, when do we get the result for the Senior maths team challenge?

Hey - in regards to that working out.

In the last section of it, when it says "Area of ABP = (AB.PD)/2)", I understood that bit. But when it says:

592323)2=323623=3(18)23=5423\frac{\frac{59-23}{23}}){2}= \frac{3}{2}\frac{36}{23}=\frac{3 (18)}{23}=\frac{54}{23}

Where did you get the numbers in >

359232\frac{3\frac{59}{-23}}{2}

From? Why did you multiply the numerator of the fraction by 3? Why did you -23?

How many marks do you need to get a certificate? and what are the different boundaries?

Everyone gets a certificate. First, second and third places get another certificate.

This thread is about the Team Challenge not the individual competition.
