Was just wondering if anybody was applying to Pharmacy at Strathclyde and what subjects or grades they have.

I am — my first choice! Applying with 5 As in English, Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Administration.

Wow, seeing all of your grades, I'm defo not going to get in now

Well what grades do you have ? (are you doing scottish highers, A levels or ... ? ) I also have applied and I'm a bit worried about whether or not I will get an offer I did visit the university in October.

I have only have one SQA higher and thats B for Art which is pretty much useless as the Pharmacy course doesn't accept that as a B. Got C's for Biology and Maths last year and redoing them this year and I'm predicted A's in them both. Crashing Higher Chemistry and don't know what I'm predicted for that. Doing Higher English but think I'm dropping out of it.

I have no idea how competitive (or not) strathclyde is for pharmacy, do you have any idea? hopefully you will get an offer from them , I so desperatley want an offer from them, such a great university and Glasgow is such a great city

The careers person phoned up and was talking to the Pharmacy lecturer himself and she was asking if I needed Higher English to do Pharmacy, they didn't really bother with Higher English, but they did say with my grades I might not be able to get in, as Pharmacy is competitive. Let's hope we both get offers! What grades do you have? Haha do you really think so?

Oh competitive, that sounds scary :O Well I'm English you see so I definitely can't get an uncondtional but at AS level I got AAAB but i'm worried because I only did maths to GCSE (which is like standard level :/) they told me that it might be ok though because my predicted grades are high and yes hopefully we will both get an offer Have you visited the university ?

Definitely is :/ oh I didn't know that :O I think they are really looking for Chemistry and another science, preferably Biology/Human Biology. Thats good if your on the road heading towards getting in By visiting the University do you mean the department of Pharmacy or as in Strathclyde as a whole?

Oh well hopefully that will be ok then, I really like the look of strathclyde- I have the predicted grades above their entry requirements so hopefully they give me an offer - I have 2 conditionals - Queens Belfast and Sunderland , you ?
