Re: York St John 2012
@ thompsonic7: I'm in a similar position, although I think it's best to have an insurance which is a higher amount of UCAS points to gain.
The situation is quite unusual, as often the 'firm' choice is above the insurance choice in terms of UCAS points. Although in this case, the insurance is simply there just in case anything changes.
Personally I've placed York St John University (220) as 'Firm', and University Of Salford (280) as 'Insurance'. -
Re: York St John 2012
How long after applying did people get offers? I've applied for two different courses, just becasue I liked the uni so much. I had an interview for primary education, and I'm not expecting a reply any time soon, because they said it could take up to a month! But I applied for children, young people and families about 6 weeks ago, and I've heard nothing back. Is this the same for most people's courses? Only I'm starting to get really worried, because it's the only uni I'm waiting on :/

Re: York St John 2012YSJ takes a bit to process all the applications as we've received a huge increase in offers (yet again) this year. Don't be worried, they didn't give me my offer until March :P(Original post by icnthelpit)

Re: York St John 2012If you are still waiting for replies on teaching I emailed them and asked when offers should be coming because I too am still waiting on just YSJ and they were looking through everything today and offers should be on track tomorrow (Don't hold me to this though as I had my interview in December and I don't know if yours was on the same day and therefore be given your offer at the same time :P )(Original post by icnthelpit)

I applied to a few unis and got all my offers, but I'm still considering York St John as my main choice. Anyone else considering this? I'm studying Psychology.
