Re: The 11/12 NBA season threadI think you mean Lincredibly Linteresting.(Original post by TheLouisVuittonDon)
The NBA is **** at the moment. Bored of hearing about Lin constantly, you go on the NBA homepage and you're just bombarded with it constantly..
'CNN's Jeanne Moos's piece on the fascination with Lin-inspired wordplay leads our look back.'
Incredibly interesting..

Re: The 11/12 NBA season threadOnly thing better than watching Lebron choke in the finals is watching it in HD.(Original post by Simon Adebisi)
I'm gonna get a 40 inch TV for my bedroom in time for the playoffs
Good call. -
Re: The 11/12 NBA season threadHe cuts down his turnovers, and I'd be willing to replace him with Carmelo on the All-star team(Original post by Xotol)
28 points, 14 assists, 5 steals and 7 TO.
That's pretty ****ing good. Linsanity continues.

Re: The 11/12 NBA season threadJust watched the last 2 games he played (9 and 7 TOs) and it really isn't about the pick and roll, he seems to have a really loose handle, he keeps the ball very far from his body and does silly stuff with it sometimes. It's like he doesn't hold it firmly enough. TBH though, Dallas did try to double team him with every possession today (good move) and it flustered him.(Original post by alexsong)
Like Hubie Brown said when Lin is playing pick and roll and driving all the time and distributes for about 80% of possessions turnovers are gonna happen
Still though, when he scores, he doesn't just do it once, like in the beginning of the 4th Q, 2 3-point plays at the basket and then assisting the 3's. He defo is an impact player.
In other news has anyone noticed that since Feb 4th, every game he's played has seen a personal high recorded for him?
Feb 4th: vs NJ 5reb 7ast 25pts 2stls (PH's in Reb, Ast, Pts)

Re: The 11/12 NBA season thread
Lebron is so close to being the perfect player. If he could just start playing like he does in the first 3 quaters in the 4th and win a few rings, I bet he'll go down as the greatest SF in history and one of the GOAT.
Power, speed, shooting, defence, rebounds... he's got it all.
