Things to do to boost Cambridge Engineering application

Hi,
I am currently in Year 11 and am going to study Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths for AS Level then depending on how I am doing I may drop Chemistry.

I would really like to study Engineering in Cambridge so I want to start doing things to help with my application early. Are there any (not too complex) books you would recommend or other things you could suggest that may help to boost my application later on?

Make sure you do really well at AS Level. I read and mentioned one of the books in my personal statement lol, but I think you just need to have some nice answers for the interview questions. Sure there are some mathsy questions, and some that are meant to let the interviewers see how you think, but there are more... wordy questions too...
