Can I ask if you have an interview at Newcastle in March, and if so, when did you get notified of it?
I only ask because I submitted my application last year in October and have still not heard a thing? I haven't been invited for interview so have pretty much given up hope on it, but I also have not been rejected either? I'm a 32yr old mature (Access course) applicant.
Has anybody else perhaps not heard anything either? Both my academics and PS were excellent (so I was told by people who reviewed the PS...I also came first in my year and got an academic achievement award) but had bad luck with the UKCAT (some bad guesses mainly) and got just under 600 so had kind of written it off due to my score on that
When I've logged into my UCAS track and had a look at that, I just get the following message:
Your application has been sent for consideration
Newcastle was the only place I applied to also....Has this likely gone against me? I guess I'm just trying to work out where I've gone wrong (apart from UKCAT obviously) so that I don't make the same mistake(s) next time round.

I'm in the same boat barzy.....I'm assuming that maybe we weren't "bad" enough (for want of a better word! No dentistry appilicants will be "bad" I think!) to warrant being rejected outright but weren't good enough to be awarded an immediate interview!......I guess though that they do say no news is good news!

I've applied the same except I applied for Leeds not Sheffield, still not heard from liverpool either lol

Hi all, just wanted to say a big congrats to those of you holding offers! I'm a current first year at Newcastle so if any of you have firmed and need to know what to buy/bring PM me or reply to this post
This is a great idea! We made one last year and it was really nice for us all to chat over fb before we got there it's also useful throughout the years just to get info about stuff and bitch about exams/lecturers haha...
