No, im trying for A* but i'll try make up the missing UMS from unit 5 and unit 6. I have no retakes planned.

I see. Unit 5 is so hard atm. Need to up my game fast. I hate coursework :colonhash:

My results consisted of a mixture of A's and B's. How were yours?
C3 was my worst result being a B 74/100 but i'm not surprised.

I said that you will do well in C3 when you helped me with a question before the exam.
I'm going to say congrats before you tell me your score. I'm sure you got over 90.

My lowest was unit 4 physics which is the only one im considering, but its 30% of my grade whilst unit 5 is 50%, im unsure at the moment though.

Tbh i'd like to have no retakes, i have 6 exams already.

Yeah. I heard unit 4 physics was a BEAST. You was on edexcel right?
No one in the physics class at me school got an A.

I have 6 exams in the summer WITH resits atm.

I did OCR, grade boundaries shot up a bit this time round but i guess its fair tbh.

That should be manageable then, right? Are you having another go at C3?

We've done two and ive dropped one mark so far, hope i dont drop more marks as the grade boundaries are quite tight and its a hard practical!
Also james, you've done amazingly! However if you're really gutted then get your paper back (priority photocopy - if you want it remarked) and look at the markscheme and see where you went wrong?

This was me last year for chemistry. You just gotta tackle your weak areas. That's what I did :yep:

Oh, and getting your script back will HELP. It did for my unit 2 exam.

Well, I was planning to have another go at C3 as soon as I walked out of the exam hall on the 23/01 :lol:

but now my teacher tells me that I should focus on getting an A.
What to do? What to do? I don't wanna do 4 resits :s-smilie:

hmm dont think so, ill be going for a retake. i have one last shot at it and i will aim for full ums this time.

not to mention there is a heavy overlap between unit 4 and unit 5 concepts e.g. the organics mainly.

i did bad in my other exams. really badly. got a C in C3 and a D in D1. (it was question four that sealed my fate pretty much. lost quite a lot of marks there)

you guys done excellent. im proud of you!

Hey dude. We have 1 or 2 more c/w to go I think. I dropped 2-4 marks I think whic h sucks because the boundaries are SO HIGH.
