Even if it was fake (which I doubt) isn't it good that it's making people aware of what effect bullying can have? I think the support appearing for this guy is amazing.
When did I say it wasn't? The video is moving yes. However, the amount of publicity this video has, along with the fact that the channel was created on the same day as the video was uploaded suggests that it was fake. Some of the spelling errors looked deliberate, plus the appropiate pauses in between each card definitely gave the impression that this boy was acting.

whow, just when you think TSR is at saturation point of douchebags you see this pag

Whilst I won't lie and said it made me cry; it was definitely moving, the kid was clearly at breaking point and that was his only outlet.
Awwh, are you mad because this was you when you were younger?

He has another channel as Perez Hilton pointed out in his coverage of the story. Deliberate pauses..? He was changing cards. The video is not fake.. get over it!

i have my suspicions if i'm honest. the "Hi! I'm Jonah =]" or whatever it was and the "I look happy, right? well i'm not" just feels so much like an anti-bullying campaign

i was half expecting it to pan out so we could see him write 'i'm being bullied' in baked beans on his dinner plate

I am sure if it was 'fake' the International Business Times among other notable publications wouldn't have pusblished stories on it today.. http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/2608...rseverance.htm

There's nothing "strong" about breaking down and apparently being seriously affected by "bullying" (i.e. normal youth-youth interaction that most people find amusing and character building, and a few defective individuals are destroyed by)

I definitely believe that the distribution of "bullying" is really very even, but some children just can't handle it. They're far too sensitive, so while everyone else just has a laugh and returns "banter", in every school year there's one or two poor souls who want to kill themselves.

It's a shame, but it's really more their problem than anyone else's. We have to consider how far we should expect the vast majority to adjust their behaviour to accommodate a tiny minority.
This, I don't believe in bullying, I do believe in sensitive people though.

you came to the conclusion that this boy was acting because he had appropriate pauses? To him being bullied is a big deal and that to show his feelings, one being bullied one could not even describe.

Of course he is going to have pauses, he is trying to express himself about being bullied which isn't as easy like reading a book.

I also doubt that every bully victim first worries is "have i made sure all my spelling is correct to please everyone?" is it? I mean you spelt appropriate wrong...

followed by  <- my reaction.

I'm not sure if it was Jonah's story or the music but that vid made me sad.

I don't understand how someone can be so affected by bullying that it would make them self harm or want to end their life. Surely there's another way. Moving schools, fighting back or standing up for yourself.

First I notice that he has headphones in. Most people can be brought to tears while listening to music that accentuates the feelings felt in any one situation.
