Re: Anyone got any money making ideas?
I want something that's not too labour intensive. Like something I can do in my spare time. Ideas anyone?
Let's bounce some thoughts back and forth. They say taking a hobby and turning it into a money maker is the best place to start, but my hobbies involve gettin pissed and tryin to get laid. I don't really want to turn those hobbies into a business. -
Re: Anyone got any money making ideas?Ooh interesting, there's an idea, thanks.(Original post by nannipigg)
What about a blog and then look up how you can make money from it....but be careful, you normally only get back what you put in!!!!and there are so many cons out there too x
So let's see, what can i blog about? I'm assuming i'd be making money from adverts on the blog. Maybee affiliates commissions or soemthing too!
Ok step 1 is done, now I need a topic. Ideas for a topic to blog about? -
Re: Anyone got any money making ideas?
Buy a donut maker and go to car boot sales on a Saturday or Sunday morning, set up a stand and sell donuts and hot tea.
The ROI on this is enormous = you'll get your investment back in no time at all and after that it's all profit. And it's not exactly hard work. -
Re: Anyone got any money making ideas?i like your thinking! ROI is definitely something that needs to be considered. I don't know what a donut maker is, obviously i can guess, im picturing something akin to a toaster cross mini oven. How much would that set me back?(Original post by Howard)

So a blog and a donut machine are the ideas so far. A good start already, im happy with the progress. I kinda want to combine those two ideas but i can;t see a blog about makin donuts going far.
A donut machine is my favourite idea now, however i cant drive so getting to these car boot sales with my donuts is going to be a task. Thanks for your input. -
Re: Anyone got any money making ideas? If you ever go to a seaside resort you'll see what I am talking about. You drop the dough in one end and donuts travel on a sort of conveyor through the hot fat and out the other end. Sprinkle with sugar and job done. These machines come in varying capacities - maybe six a minute.(Original post by bmcfarlane)

Cost? I think you could probably pick up a second hand unit for maybe 500 or a grand. (Check out ebay or somewhere like that for used catering equipment) Payback time? Well, I'm not an expert at donut economics but lets say it makes mini ring donuts and you sell them for 4 quid a half dozen. Let's say you sell 50 orders a day - that's $200. Minus your dough costs (say $30) so that's $170 profit. Assuming the unit costs say $500 you've paid off your investment in about 3 days work. Sell hot tea out of an urn at a 75p or a quid and you're making money hand over fist.
Like anything, depends how hard you work at it. But the potential is there - car boot sales, village fetes, sunday morning soccer league events, markets........etc....Last edited by Howard; 09-12-2011 at 16:23. -

OP is trollin.
There is such a thing as easy money - you just have to be pretty smart to find it.(Original post by myuranking)
Escort services? There is no such thing as easy money. Maybe a candy floss machine! One of my mates has a fruit machine in his room and he makes a fortune from his mates lol. Buy a fruit machine and rent them out! -
Re: Anyone got any money making ideas?Yes I'm male. You have some male centric money making ideas for me?(Original post by Lauren Pen)
Are you a male? -
Re: Anyone got any money making ideas?I don't think there's any trolling going on here. So what's this idea you have that only smart people can use? I'll give it a go if it has potential, I'm genuinely interested in making money without having to get a job.(Original post by Bakes0011)

Re: Anyone got any money making ideas?I don't see why you couldn't tbh. Lots of people like doughnuts, so if you can make an interesting blog out of the topic then it could be a hit.(Original post by bmcfarlane)
