    HONEST opinion of Glasgow Caledonian
Would love to study Multi-media Journalism there but I don't really know what the place is like. Is it a good uni? Opinions please.

Its a pretty average uni, check out the website. It will have loads of information about their facilities and courses on offer. Glasgow as a city is a great place to be a student and the universitys campus is in a great location too. It has the image of being less serious/posh compaired to glasgow and strathclyde university. I recently spoke to a journalism graduate from cali and he struggled to get a job, he has now went into marketing. So the empoyability of a calidonian graduate in the field of journalism should also be considered.
good luck, and im sure you would enjoy your time at cali if you went.

A couple of my flatmates are doing journalism at Cale and they really enjoy it, it's actually the best course in Scotland for journalism (or so they say). They're both really glad they picked here anyway. It just depends on what course you're doing with regards to if the uni is good or not. Some courses are a bit of a joke I think, but there are loads that are really good. I love the campus, it's easy to find your way around and it's location is great, so are halls if you're going to be living there. I'm really glad I chose cale too, havent regretted it once

Cale students seem happy with what they study so it is a good uni.

You can get stats on employment prospects easily on a couple different websites. Sadly I've heard it doesn't fair too well, but this may be subject specific- I've never actually looked into it.

Glasgow is a good city to live in!

As far as I was aware, and this is just from what I've heard, Stirling actually has the best Journalism course - Jon Snow said it was the best in the UK, so I take that as high praise indeed
