I have £7000 atm. It would be great if it was all mine but since a lot of it is saved from my loan it feels so false, since I will owe waaaaay more than that anyway :frown: I guess technically I have nothing in that case.

You've done well to have that amount of money in your account though, well done. Are you saving up for anything in particular?

Thanks  I commute so manage to save a bit because of that. I'm not really saving for anything in particular. I'd like to travel a bit after uni, but nothing fancy

£8000 in one savings account (£5.5k of that is from parents saving up since I was 10 and the other £2.5k is my own money from my summer job). The money in this account are my long term savings, e.g. for a house in the future.

£600 in another saving account which is for short term savings e.g. planning to redecorate my room and for start up money at uni until loans come in

£400 in my current account, however I'm getting paid in a weeks time so hopefully will get another £600-700 from that  (I get paid on a monthly basis) I'm planning to buy a new phone, Nexus 4 as my last phone was stolen a few weeks back and pay for driving lessons.

Nope, got the job last December  it's full time and I work nights, weekends which earns me more money plus I'm in London so I got an extra bit of cash due to the high living cost. I only use the money for my transport, resist the temptation!!!

I inherited £600k last year.

I still have £573,505.80.

I have more than anyone here combined.

Then again, I am £21k in debt with the SLC, which they are never getting back. :colone:
Just over £1000 pounds. All the money I've saved throughout my life :s-smilie:
