Pfft Casino Royale was tame.
"Hostel" is even tame compared to some movies.

"Battle Royale" wasn't so much torture, just your typical dark Japanese gory battle flick. Perfect for a first date I reckon.

I almost feel like I'm lying to you in telling you that the worst torture scene I've ever seen was in "Loved Ones."
I spent more of the film hiding behind my best friend than I did actually watching it.

Not even close; Imprint. Lady is hogtied naked then pulled up so she's hanging a few feet off the ground, then they stick bamboo sticks underneath all her nails, under her eyes and right into her gums above the teeth and let them grow over a long peroid of time. Doesn't leave much to the imagination. It was banned from television I recall.

Another film by the same guy actually (really messed up individual) is 'Audition', which contains a pretty horrific torture scene.

Battle Royale's pretty bad but the second movie you mention is a hundred times worse (it was called Untraceable btw :biggrin:

I did not like Hostel 2 when that girl was hanging from the ceiling getting her back ripped to shreds while this other woman is writhing about in her blood like oooh yeah baby. Disturbing, but definitely not the worst out there.
