What would a 1920s Egyptian woman wear to a party?

'cause whatever it would be, I need to find/ improvise one pretty soon!

Burqa

They weren't that common in Egypt until after the 70s and 80s.
1920's Egyptian woman?!

I don't think a more exact costume has ever been asked for :P
Full renaissance dress with jacobean ruff.

Failing that, the trusty old banana suit.

1920s Egyptian? That's fairly specific. Anyway, I'd say a plain dress with a shawl to cover your head. At least that's what Google images tells me.
A tent.
That is quite a specific idea. I googled it to see if anything would come up and this did:

It does look like a mix of 20's with traditional egyptian style.

Well on searching google for images of 'Egypt 1920' I got a picture of Lara Croft :unimpressed: Not quite the period I was searching for.

At which stayed he was very dead and mummified - not the best look for a party!
