Ooh, you attended GYLC, I was going to go then I decided not to, I was too busy. Well, you had an extremely LONG summer this time since a-levels finished way too early!

    Gah, horrible idea. :naughty:

Well, yes, it was comparatively easier than Canada but I wouldn't call it a cake walk or easy way out. The main reason I choose it was I don't wanna do a UG, apply, get rejected and have to change career/motives.

Gahh, 7 courses. :eek4: Well, I did 7 too, and 3 of them were complete "BS". Philosophy and languages annoyed me way too much, excited to let them go!

Definitely so, thats why I like guy friends way better! (great.)

I might choose to stay in halls year 2 as well, become a residence mentor and its cheaper than owning a flat in london prob

Grr, true say, sucks to be an intl at times. :sadnod:

You will have no debt, whatsoever?
You should have - it was so fun! And if I had gotten in over here, I'd have started in March

    You never know

Didn't you have that 7 year thing though? Why not go for that then?

Philosophy eh? I always think of someone sitting in a comfy armchair, next to a fireplace, smoking a pipe when I hear that

Against your own sex. I like it

I'd like to, but I heard it's competitive and whatnot

None from a bank, but tons to my mum - which is a lot more burdensome :cry2:

Well I could have...but I had four rejections a while back and somehow ended up with an offer a couple of months later.
Woah... congrats! How did that happen?

Yup, definitely have the job I applied for it in April :p: (Part of my early planning addiction
Well, I plan to be selling women's clothes online. Contacts are the wholesalers I already know :p: France and Germany are awesome places to buy nice stuff from for a cheap price :p:
I'm a plan freak, I can not stand things not going to plan and if something does go wrong, I immediately try to fix it up haha. Let's hope my independent travelling works out to be like that as well I know, but it's so worth it! I can imagine it must be so satisfying to do it!
    How about your plans?
Wahey, well done!! That's fab! when do you start?

Oooh well, when you're handing out discounts, remember we're old friends eh Nah but seriously, that's such a cool idea! If it works out and makes you loads of money, is that when youre thinking that uni isn't really necessary?

Haha, we're pretty much opposites in that sense then. But fixing up problems fast is always a good thing tbh!
Yeah it defo will be! It's a really brave thing to do, though, travel through a country where you don't speak the language on your own. :O
Yeah, that's true! I think I would volunteer with animals if I was going to volunteer.... in Costa Rica or South Africa or something :moon: But you're right, it would be super rewarding, proper life-changing experience

My gap years sorted, found the family i'm staying with and visited them (and loved them ), enrolled with the language school. I'm excited, I just wanna start my GY now!!

Tell me about it. They mark you on body lang and it shows more professionalism according to my tour guide.

Hmm, going to try but I guess its that feeling of not knowing where u are heading that is eating me. Well, volunteering at the hospital, working, TV and reading and learning to cook this summer. Thank you! Meh, initial reaction was a disaster, now I am thinking I might just scrape through for sheffield so pre much setting myself for disappointment. The math was brutal, languages no clue and bio was pre good, chem was decent (hard too) and econ was meh too. GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR EXAMS!

That's harsh, not that much you can do about your body language if you're already having to think about answers and stuff.
Wow, sounds so busy! i reckon you're sorted :p: And congrats on the job in the camp btw! What's your role specifically?
Awwww :hugs: Well, people always think exams have gone worse than they have, so fingers crossed for you Sounds like a mix bag then Hopefully it'll all balance out. When do you get results?
And thank youuuuu! Can't wait til they're done

    9th of July

 Sure, will do :p: Assuming it works out though. But yeah, if it works out, I may reconsider even going to uni haha, although most likely I'll still go.

A bit scary hehe :p: I personally would like to stick to the Eastern hemispehere for my gap year though so no Costa Rica or anything of sorts for me yet :p: Wow nice! What are you doing and where?

    Thanks
I got a few interviews but I didn't prepare for them at all so I wasn't surprised to get 4 rejections. Then one of my choices had a few more spaces available and luckily I was on the waiting list. I don't really deserve the offer though

I agree but I guess body language means more like no fidgeting/like squirming too.
Haha, definitely, its just nightmares and stuff. Aww, thank you, uhm a camp greeter so not much.
Thanks, hopefully that is the case. Uhm July 6th and if my coordinator is nice, then July 5th (he gets them a day early). Terrified for that moment but not much that I can change.
No probs, when do u end?

With great difficulty, haven't even done my exams and I'm scared of the horrible wait lol.

    GOOD LUCK!
I am sure you will do well. GOOD LUCK for the exams.

and doing absolutely nothing except debating or pondering over trivial issues.

Not completely, equality ftw! but some people are just....

Really, prob intls get priority since they live so far.

Uhm bank loans suck, interest rates are too high and plus more binding trouble. :sadnod:

i was put in a room on my own so if i panicked it would be easier on me, but i still kept worrying about freaking out i made sooooo many simple things. i wrote the correct answer for so many questions, and then crossed them out and wrote the wrong ones. im pretty sure i got a B/C in that paper, so i need to get a high A in the next one. i can only pray that Unit 1 went okay so i have something to fall back on im hoping unit 5 will be better, cause i personally find it simpler than unit 4

I was in isolation too because being around too many people was starting to panic me. Pretty sure I got a high B or low A and I was hoping for a high A in this :sigh: I just really want an A in Unit 5 I find it easier too except for chapter 14 :cry2:

Chances are grade boundaries will be low cos my friends went 'what the **** was that?!' coming out of the exam and everyone else found it super tricky too :hugs:

i hope theyre incredibly low. i can easily think of five questions i screwed up on. all together im pretty sure i lost about 20 marks, and i think i may have lost 10 marks but im not sure about those ones. although my school is one of those schools where people come out all like "nahhh it wasnt too bad, nailed it" :sigh:

Just saw you quote me :p: It went alright, not too bad. But definitely a tricky paper overall! It could have been worse though. ie, section A was like a joke  But B and C were weird..
