In my head pokemon has been real since red, blue and yellow. Gen I is and always will be my favourite and i used to want a Hypno (it's so cool!) and i used to have a recurring dream where it would follow me round in a blue waist coat and just be epic!
I'd be a trainer and fight with Alakazam, Aerodactyl, Lapras, Arcanine, Vileplume and Jolteon.
I'd never fight with Hypno! he'd sit next to me whilst i battle and i'd pat his head, much like Giovanni and Persian

I was completely obsessed with pokemon as a kid and i think hypno was one of the first i got. I've not had the dream for a few years but i somehow remember it....must be hypno being sneaky(Original post by Kurol)

Re: If Pokemon were real...Some of my favourites were Ampharos, Espeon and Umbreon, so I'd have those fo' sho'. I'd also have Charizard for awesomeness and for flight and two others to make up a reasonably balanced team (in terms of types), I can't decide which ones.

I'd protest for pokemon rights, does anyone else kind of think its cruel to stuff them in to tiny spheres, and only let them come out to fight other pokemon (where they don't even get to decide how to fight them).
Obviously there are some issues with something meant to be fictional existing the real world! But let's say Pokemon have a choice to fight or not. I mean, there were plenty of them in the anime that only fought when they absolutely needed too!(Original post by whitepearlbaby)
I'd have Espeon as a pet (who'd have thought) but I wouldn't be a trainer, it seems kinda... cruel. -

It can sound kind of spooky lol
If they were real I would be a pokemon trainer but mostly someone who liked helping others with things such as putting on entertainment shows for people in hospitals.

I think they had a few hiccups in gen 1 but animals don't exist in that universe! -

That really would be awesome I really want a Garchomp and Gyarados they both look so amazing. Plus I love Dragon pokemons.
Oh and I'd like to be one of those Pokemon park rangers
just because they're always so nice in the anime and protective of "pokemons".

Re: If Pokemon were real...So do I. Waking up on Saturday mornings to watch the Pokemon episode on SMTV, then getting sky and realising they showed it like 4 times daily on Sky 1.
The games were amazing in their own right as well. I remember before I got Pokemon Blue, one of my friends lent me Red but because there was only 1 save file I just had to play continuously, must have gone through a lot of batteries.
The cards as well!! Begging my parents to get me a pack of 10 cards I think they came in, ripping it open and flicking through to see if you had a SHINY!
