Re: If Pokemon were real...haha I remember the starter decks, I didn't know to play the game properly at the time...nobody in my primary school seemed to know either so everybody sort of ignored those small marble looking pebbles (which were 'hit counters') And people didn't like the energy cards, it was all about having all the cool pokemon and shiney ones(Original post by CAPTAIN CAPSLOCK)
So do I. Waking up on Saturday mornings to watch the Pokemon episode on SMTV, then getting sky and realising they showed it like 4 times daily on Sky 1.
The games were amazing in their own right as well. I remember before I got Pokemon Blue, one of my friends lent me Red but because there was only 1 save file I just had to play continuously, must have gone through a lot of batteries.
The cards as well!! Begging my parents to get me a pack of 10 cards I think they came in, ripping it open and flicking through to see if you had a SHINY!
genuinely good times...
I once bought some pokemon pyjamas and inside was a limited edition Mewtwo. I was literally the most popular kid in primary school that day because everybody wanted to trade with me for it. LOL. -
Re: If Pokemon were real...Abra, he seems like a chill guy(Original post by Luxray)
Who would everyone have as their 'best buddy pokemon' (Like Ash and his Pikachu). Mine would definitely by Arcanine. -
Re: If Pokemon were real...My school didn't know how to play it either. With energy cards it was either get rid of them or figure out their what they do like you're trying to break the Da Vinci code.(Original post by Luxray)

I remember one of my friend came with a Shiny Typhlosion, every one circled around him and I think it was the first time I had evil thoughts of stealing in my head
No Luxray in your team then?

Re: If Pokemon were real...lol, I'm relatively sure Pokemon cards went the same way as the Yo-yo craze at my school and got banned!(Original post by Luxray)

I didn't understand how to play either, just collected the cards. Parents must have been really annoyed I didn't ever actually use the cards. -
Re: If Pokemon were real...Dear Lord you are a genius(Original post by triiden)
I'd study a geodude extensively to discover how a lump of rock can some how hover. Then make hover cars.

And no as much as I think Luxray is a good electric pokemon and has good stats, I actually wanted Arcanine as my username but someone already has that
It was between Luxray or Ninetales in the end. -

Re: If Pokemon were real...
I would want to be the very best, like no one ever was. I mean, to catch them would be my real test, and to train them would be my cause. I would travel across the land, searching far and wide, each Pokemon to understand the power that's inside. Pokemon... it'd be you and me, because I know that it's my destiny. My Pokemon would be my best friend in a world me must defend.

BTW I would still get Umbreon and Espeon as best buddy pokemon. Forget the starters pokemon

Re: If Pokemon were real...Pokemon card got banned as well in my school. As did Digimon but people lost interest in that before the ban kicked in. However during the end of year 6 Pokemon sort of made a quiet return and they didnt ban it that time.(Original post by CAPTAIN CAPSLOCK)

I used to have a massive deck of cards, around like 200 of the best ones and then my bloody brother burnt them all when he was about 5.
I cried all night when it happened. All my precious cards gone.
I'd be a trainer
