    Spain Olympic team

    Goalkeepers: De Gea, Mariño, Joel.
Defenders: Montoya, Azpilicueta, Botía, A. Domínguez, San José, I. Martínez, Jordi Alba
Midfielders: Javi Martínez, Thiago, Ander Herrera, Koke, Isco, Mata, Romeu
Attackers: Adrián, Muniain, Tello, Rodrigo, Á. Vázquez

    That's a pretty impressive side..
Has to be cut down to 18 soon i think. Wonder who will drop out :holmes:

Such a good squad, interested to see what Brazil's will be.

Ah I didn't realise that. I think they just get rid of one player for each position? (think you need only two GKs)

Yea the Spanish and Brazilian Olympic teams look impressive so far (the provisional short lists).

Will be the teams to beat.. think Uruguay will also have a decent team.

Probably, Tello and Munian both play somewhat withdrawn roles. Not sure which of those are traditional number 9's..

Brazil and Spain squads (not the proper decided ones) look like they should be banned for cheating compared to ours.

Top our group and we can avoid either of them until SF's

In fairness, had we taken the Olympics really seriously and avoided injuries, we could have had a great squad too.

    Gibbs, Bertrand for LB
    P.Jones, Smalling, Caulker for CB
Kelly and Richards for RB (since he was picked)
Henderson, Cleverly, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rodwell for CM
Sinclair, Danny Rose, Bale for the wings.
    Carroll, Welbeck, Sturridge up front.

I'm sure the list of U23 who were eligble had a number of tasty options but we decided not to opt for that.

Joe Allen over Henderson any day...

Semantics, the point being we have more depth and options in our U23 than we have had for years but we chose not to take the Olympics seriously.

Thiago Silva is going? Christ. Can't see past Brazil or Spain for this one.

Happen to have game schedules? Think I overheard that Spain will be at Hampden...

I think we paid £25 each :beard:

If getting to Scotland wasn't a piss take I'd probably go and watch Spain as well.

Wonder how much the tickets are/how available they are for the knockout stages? Might be a good idea to check the final out for a decent game!

Brazil v Egypt in cardiff for £20 a ticket, tempting ...

Bronze place match is £30 for its cheapest ticket

Hampden have only sold something like 3-5,000 tickets. I think they are ridiculously overpriced

Got tickets to the brazil match in OT. Thinking about the potential brazil v GB/ Uruguay semi at OT if it isn't sold out. How much are the tickets for that?
