Got tickets to the brazil match in OT. Thinking about the potential brazil v GB/ Uruguay semi at OT if it isn't sold out. How much are the tickets for that?

This was posted from The Student Room's iPhone/iPad App
I'm looking at http://www.tickets.london2012.com/br...ts=1&offset=10 btw if you're interested.

Tickets are available for the semi at OT. £30 is cheapest tickets and as i say those are available.

    That is relevant.. why?

Are you claiming both Giggs and Bellamy can have stand out performances against any team, including that one?

At least they have been playing at the highest level last season unlike Beckham.

Just because they are in the PL doesnt mean they play 'at the highest level' because you then have to look at how they actually played.

I would pick team of the year, most assists Beckham over unfit Bellamy and off-form Giggs. Regardless of how boring and unsubstantiated the crap about MLS is, given that is literally the only thing ppl can bring up with regards to him. No substantiated facts or even real views, just 'huur duur MLS' crap.

So why don't we pick some amateur player who has 100 goals in a Sunday league this season?

Don't recognise too many names but interesting that they have 2 over-23 strikers in the squad and 5 strikers in total (I'm sure they play AMC/wings too).

Who are you guys going to be watching out for in the olympics coming up?
I have a few athletes that I am definitely looking forward to seeing crush all the competition like Bickel, the young Mitcham, etc.
Am very interested in seeing how England will do it up to rep their beautiful city London =)
What about you guys? I saw this list about Who to watch out for in the 2012 Olympics which was pretty good but I'd like to know some more suggestions as well.
What do you guys think ?

    Why?
personal reasons, i suppose. i understand that for the 'greater good' of the squad, he may not be included if it's all based on merit as should be the case. but he's an icon, and a childhood hero that i wanted to watch one last time. he's an ambassador, brought the games to London, and for him to captain team GB would've been very, very symbolic.

imagine in twelve years from now, the olympics are held in Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo has the chance to captain Portugal in Lisbon as one of three overage players. that's essentially what it is for me, only even more personal because i like David Beckham.

An icon who was more interested in money, celebrity status and living somewhere like LA instead of staying in a competitive league or in the country he apparently loves?

Don't devalue what all those other people did for the bid, just because they have lesser names nor the fact that the taxpayers are footing the bill for hosting the Olympics.

everyone treats money differently. i would've done the same thing, if it meant money and living the life i dreamt of living. what's wrong with pursuing your dreams? nothing. i'm being fair, in that i admit he shouldn't be included on merit, but at the same time i was just voicing my disappointment because he is a hero to me for personal reasons.

So, Mexico vs Switzerland and GB Vs Uruguay. Paid £46 for two tickets including delivery so the cheapest ones available. I'm sitting on the second row from the back behind the goal and am quite confused. I thought these upper tier tickets were the more expensive tickets at the millennium stadium. Either way I'm happy!

Why? He'd won everything in England.

Thing is, who gives a **** about Micah Richards, really? Nobody gives a flying ****. Whereas Beckham, he's an England football god.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18869911

'Cardiff's upper tier of seats will be closed for some games.'

'The upper tier of seats at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium will be closed for all games'

The BBC needs to learn there is a difference between the two statements. I have tickets for the upper tier at the millennium stadium for Mexico vs Switzerland and GB vs Uruguay so I have no idea what this means for me. Can anyone shed any light? The olympic committee can't answer any ticket related queries and direct me straight to the FAQs.
