Re: Current Year 12 Thread Mark VGood idea - do you think they would remember you?(Original post by Coco_94)
I may see if I can get w/e if Hospital fails first at where I used to go myself. -
Re: Current Year 12 Thread Mark VI'm unsure. Maybe. I don't think it's the most relevant factor though if they don't. That's one extra load of my mind. I have an idea for some form of work experience somewhere. If I can also find any open and public lectures for Philosophy to attend...it might end up satisfactory.(Original post by Etoile)

And even if you don't, I think your reading might be sufficient

Re: Current Year 12 Thread Mark V
indeed.
I bloody hope so. It worries me that. I mean, I could read lots and lots...but I have a horrible feeling for some reason of them wanting more.
That's that settled. Or, at least there's a plan of sorts.
Also, when it comes to the Prize for Philosophy and Ethics year 12...I'm entering that...regardless.
Etoile. I love you for that link.

I think, if you can talk about it and give good opinions on it (maybe in PS/interview) then it is definitely fine. Quality over quantity!
Within your school? If you don't win....the world will explode
You love me anyway
-
Re: Current Year 12 Thread Mark VI suppose so. Considering I've got some of the books recommended by Trinity already and am working through, I hope it'll go down well.(Original post by Etoile)

No, the one for Trinity college. Nationally. Which is more daunting.
Just accept the gesture.

Then I have my Hume and Kant.

That explains last night!
Even though as I got more delerious and my mind more loose, I somehow understood more and had to re-read passages less.
I have. Chapter 7 out of 15

Oh so I epitomise the fact that men get off with the crime easy. I see.

Camus, we have Camus in our library and all I know is that he was an absurdist, and French.
Speaking of which, how do you know of Camus?
Sartre. Nietzsche. Kierkegaard. The three big boy existentialists.
Though, I love me some Kant.

Hm?Last edited by Ensam_Varg; 18-12-2011 at 14:03. -

I know you do

Idk, it seemed relevant at the time
It's pretty too
Spoiler:ShowI had a realisation last night

Sartre is much more optimistic than Nietzsche, though at the same time Nietzsche, from what I've understood is still liberating....though damn a pessimist he is, or arguably a realist, in regards to his opinion of humanity as it is now.
Though I guess it depends on your character. GOTT IST TOT!
It confused me.
Spoiler:ShowWhat was that?
