Just out of Interest......

Hey,

I was just wondering how many hours a week your various veterinary Courses take up? My fella was talking about his degree (in sports) and he only did 15 hours a week in lectures etc! It just seemed a little low?

Well this term we have been having around 14-15 hours of lectures per week. On top of this we then have 4-5hrs of dissection on Fridays, animal handling or practicals most Tuesdays, sometimes a lab class/computer class, and then the odd tutorial every few weeks.
14-15 hrs of lectures might not seem much but when you see how much you cover in the 1 lecture its crazy :eek:

I didn't mean it to sound like i thought 15 hours was lame, its just i work full time at the moment and i was just comparing it to that really! Sorry if i did annoy any students.....i didnt mean to!:frown:

Take for example, the aptly named pig week next week- 30.5 teaching hours.
Not usually quite this bad tho but a bit sporadic, occasionally we get light weeks e.g. 3 afternoons off this week to write our 2000 word case report.

So busy, busy, but manageable!
